| AERT 2008 Spring Conference The Treadway Inn and Conference Center We were delighted to continue having our educators meeting at the centrally located Treadway Inn and Conference Center. The Inn has wonderful food, good service and excellent accommodations. The Inn boasts 92 rooms, plus a Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn right next door, should we happily overflow! The Treadway has separate meeting rooms and separate dining rooms, so our lectures will not be over-run by the clanging of dishes, or lunch being prepared. Everything is located in one central building, so even if the weather is inclement we will not have to risk life and limb getting to the meeting rooms! The newly renovated rooms all have hair dryers, coffee makers, refrigerators, irons and ironing boards, safes, alarm clocks and free internet access! Forgot your shampoo? Toothpaste? Hairbrush? Never fear, the Treadway is here! Located on two floors with an elevator, the rooms vary from 2 double beds, 1 king, 1 queen and some suites. Once again we will a room plus meal package at the rate of: $112 double occupancy or $144 single occupancy. Feel like taking a swim or working out? The Treadway has both. Business in mind? Copier and computer are available for the guests to use. Want a nosh in the middle of the night? Vending machines are located in the hallways, right near the ice machines! Our 41st conference held at the Treadway Inn was a huge success. Our upcoming 42nd, Spring Conference to be held April 8/9 - 11 2008. The anticipated mailing for the conference brochure will be mailed shortly. Watch the website for information. If you would like to view the Treadway online, these web sites are recommended: www.owegotreadway.com and www. visittioga.com. You will find the Treadway has style and charm, and wonderful old fashioned service. I look forward to another wonderful conference this coming spring. 12 exciting ECE credits will be available, lots of networking, great food, fun and frolic! Make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to catch up with what’s going on in the education arena, and just simply renew old friendships and cultivate new ones! I wish everyone a happy and healthy new year and I look forward to seeing you in April. Hildy Oberstein, President AERTSNY |
